Annual Meeting 2022

The annual meeting took place on Wednesday, May 11 at Alforno’s Italian Kitchen. HOA President, Charles Turner, welcomed the group. He highlighted the activities of the HOA in the previous year and recognized the contributions by the elected board members and volunteer committee chairs. He expressed gratitude for the dedication of all involved and encouraged more involvement neighborhood-wide.

Treasurer John Sherwood presented the financial summary of the past year, explaining various expenses, like the landscaping fees, which are rising. He asked for volunteers to help re-write the HOA’s 15-year plan by 2024.

Then Charles opened the floor for election of directors. The existing slate of four board members was nominated - as well as a nomination for Marcus Cain, a new neighbor. The five directors were elected and will serve a one-year term.

There were 24 people present, representing 18 households, and 8 signed proxies were received in advance of the meeting. This represented a quorum - thanks to the recent changes in the HOA by-laws.

Thank you to the directors and volunteers that put their time and effort into this organization. You help to keep our HOA dues reasonable and our neighborhood friendly.

It looks like it’s going to be another great year in the neighborhood.
